Our friends at Zero Abuse Project (the folks behind the Finding Words/Child First forensic interview program) are offering some virtual trainings for the cold winter months.

In response to continued demand for virtual trainings, Zero Abuse Project is pleased to be offering a wide variety of trainings and events to help you do the important work of keeping all kids safe from abuse. To kick off 2023, we are offering the following courses:
 
 

 

Trauma, ACEs, and How They Impact Child Abuse Investigation and Prosecution
February 15, 2023 | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM CT
Who should be interested: Forensic interviewers, prosecutors, law enforcement, or other members of an MDT seeking suggestions for working with traumatized children in the context of a criminal case, and for developing a holistic approach to addressing victim needs.

Adverse Childhood Experiences & Comprehensive Trauma-Informed Care Training
March 8, 2023 | 10:00 AM – 1:15pm CT and
March 9, 2023 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM CT
Who should be interested: Professionals who work with children and families, including educators and administrators, childcare providers, law enforcement, youth-serving organizations, health and human service providers, faith-based organizations, healthcare and victim advocates.
