This webinar is presented as part of OJJDP’s Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bully Initiative. You will learn to identify and respond to incidents of anti-semitism, create teachable moments for youth that may reduce prejudiced attitudes and behaviors, and learn how to support victims of hate and identity-based bullying or misinformation.
Presenters will discuss the history of anti-semitism and Holocaust denial and will share strategies and skills for talking with youth, responding to incidents of anti-Semitism, and assisting communities. During the webinar, presenters will also share examples of young people who are making a positive impact in this area.
