| Upcoming AEquitas Office Hours Session – Serial Perpetration of Sexual Assault The SAKI TTA Team, on behalf of AEquitas, is promoting an upcoming Office Hours session entitled Serial Perpetration of Sexual Assault. Connect with AEquitas Attorney Advisors and your peers on the third Thursday of every month to examine prosecution strategies, emerging issues, promising practices, and more. This session, scheduled for August 21, 2025 at 2:00pm ET, will feature Dr. Rachel Lovell from Cleveland State University. This facilitated conversation will focus on 1) research findings regarding perpetrators of sexual assault, 2) “other crimes” evidence resulting from CODIS hits and investigatory leads, and 3) strategies to present this evidence in the context of FRE 404(b) and associated case law. If your office has been successful in prosecuting serial sex offenders or has faced challenges doing so, then this is the Office Hours for you! This is NOT a webinar, but a chance to meet AEquitas experts to converse, brainstorm, and share best practices or challenges in a national conversation. Please come ready to share your experience and strategies prosecuting these cases and any challenges you overcame as well as any questions you have of Dr. Lovell or AEquitas Attorney Advisors.
