Department of Education
NEW RESOURCE FOR EDUCATORS

The Department of Education recently announced that “…the Resource Document for Educators on Supporting the Awareness and Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Assault has been released to all schools and can be found on the NJ Department of Education’s Child Abuse, Neglect, & Missing Children’s webpage. With April being Child Abuse Prevention Month, this is the perfect time for schools to reflect on the concepts this resource document covers.  It is wonderful to be able to offer educators and administrators this helpful resource as they begin to plan their programming and curriculum for the upcoming school year.”
This document is a great step in having educators aware of the resources involved in the response to, and prevention of, child abuse. Please share these links with all those involved in your child abuse response team and your MDT case review team, and especially with your contacts in the education world.
