As you probably know, there is a shortage of appropriately trained mental health professionals to take care of NJ’s victims of child abuse.  TF-CBT (Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) training can be expensive and hard to find.

NCA (National Children’s Alliance) is offering using grant funds from Hearst Foundations to offer TF-CBT training at a reduced cost of $450. This live training will take place online March 29-31, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT, and includes 12-14 consultation calls plus bonus telehealth TF-CBT training in April.
The training will be with Carrie Epstein, LCSW-R, and will provide 13.5 continuing education credits.

We at New Jersey Children’s Alliance can offer reimbursement to mental health professionals who take the course, upon successful completion, of course.
