Caregiver and Family Engagement in Treatment: Introduction to the Motivational Enhancement for Engagement in Treatment (MEET)
The Motivational Enhancement for Engagement in Treatment (MEET) model is a standardized, Motivational Interviewing-based intervention developed to enhance treatment engagement.
From 2019 to 2021, this model was successfully implemented across nine behavioral health programs in San Diego County, resulting in a significant increase in family therapy sessions and notable symptom reduction for families involved. MEET has also been adapted for various treatment settings, including substance use disorder programs, with positive outcomes. Our expert is excited to share insights and strategies at an upcoming forum—don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to elevate treatment engagement!
Only clinicians and clinical supervisors currently serving CAC clients are eligible to participate. CAC clinicians serving rural and frontier communities are strongly encouraged to participate.
Participation is open to eligible clinicians and clinical supervisors throughout the US.
