Law Enforcement Response to Child Abuse: The Value of a Trauma-Informed Approach
This training is sponsored by the CATS Center at Baystate Medical Center.

As we learn more about the impact of trauma on the families we serve and law enforcement professionals, it is critical for us to explore the value of a trauma-informed approach. In law enforcement, the phrase “trauma-informed” has historically been viewed as a “dirty word.” In this workshop, we will examine how a shift to a more trauma-informed mindset will enhance the quality of your response, the engagement of those you are working with, and build resilience in the law enforcement profession.
