New York State Children’s Alliance: Annual Leadership Conference

This virtual, one-day conference brings professionals in the child welfare field together via Zoom for a high-level training event.  The annual conference features a highly regarded keynote speaker, 12 Advanced Level Workshops representing various disciplines with informative topics including women who molest children, approaching victims, cultural considerations in TF-CBT, child sex trafficking, and more!

The Leadership Conference is a great educational opportunity for NYSCA’s membership and the working force of law enforcement, prosecutors, social workers, probation officers, child protective/child welfare personnel, CSEC and victim advocates, medical and mental health providers, educators, and other professionals working with children. 

Our Keynote Speaker will be Ron Culberson. With a master’s degree in social work, Ron Culberson, MSW, CSP, CPAE spent the first part of his career  working in a large hospice organization as a clinical social worker, middle manager, and senior leader. As a speaker, humorist, and author of four  books including, Do it Well. Make it Fun and The Key to Success in Life, Death, and Almost Everything in Between, Ron’s mission is to change the workplace culture so that organizations are more productive and staff are more content. He was the 2012-2013 president of the National Speakers Association and is a recognized expert on the benefits of humor and laughter.
