Bivona Child Advocacy Center Virtual Child Abuse Summit
May 4, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
9:00am – 4:00pm ET
The Bivona Child Abuse Summit is a leading national multidisciplinary training conference for professionals who work with children. In response to COVID-19, Bivona Child Advocacy Center has made the decision to transform this event into a virtual experience for 2022.
With a primary focus on providing the most up-to-date resources and trends in child abuse intervention and prevention, the Summit offers a wide-range of workshops and speakers appropriate for a variety of disciplines.
Professionals encouraged to attend the Summit include social workers, law enforcement, legal professionals, judges, mental health and medical professionals, school personnel, daycare providers, child advocacy center staff, prevention professionals, and the faith-based community.
Workshops are presented by regional and national experts and include a wide variety of topics. The goal of the Bivona Child Abuse Summit is to educate members of our community — and beyond — about collaborative ways to prevent, treat, and investigate child abuse.
*Pending approval, summit attendees can receive up to 5 live online CEU’s at no extra charge!
Bivona is once again partnering with the University at Buffalo to provide up to 5 CEU’s included in registration for Social Workers and Mental Health professionals (LMSW/LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, PSY) who participate in the live conference workshops scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2022. A broad variety of workshops will be available to choose from so that all professions have the opportunity to gain vital knowledge regarding the dynamics of child abuse and how it applies to their own individual position.
