ENHANCE EARLY ENGAGEMENT training

NCA is offering a training for advocates to help them get more families to engage in the services we know they need.

They call it ENHANCE EARLY ENGAGEMENT, or “E3” – clever, huh?

Start making your 2023 training plans now! NCA is opening up applications for our Enhance Early Engagement (E3) training program. Do you offer mental health care or referrals to therapists to families only to have too many of them decline services? Do children or caregivers start treatment but not complete it? The E3 program will show victim advocates and family advocates how to make the case for services and help more families get the care they need to heal.

Apply by February 3 to join our next training cohort. Both senior CAC leaders and advocates have a part to play in the training, so please be sure to read the E3 Project Info Guide (a link is included on the application page) for details about what participants can expect.

We’ll remind you about this opportunity in January. But if you’re interested, why not apply now and cross one item off your 2023 to-do list? If you have questions about the program, contact Director of Mental Health Programs Michelle Miller, Ph.D., at mmiller@nca-online.org. This training is free.
