The training will be presented by Zero Abuse Project – the national organization behind Child First (aka Finding Words) forensic interviewing.
Forensic interviewing of children is a constantly evolving practice with new research being produced annually along with the discovery of new forms of maltreatment. The Advanced Forensic Interviewing training will cover the following advanced topics:
- Defending the Forensic Interview in Court
- Impact of Race in the Forensic Interview
- When the Suspect is a Child: MDT Response with Youth with Problematic Sexual Behavior
- Tech Facilitated Crimes and the Forensic Interview
This training is open to forensic interviewers in the Northeast Region – Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Training Logistics
- March 15, 2023 from 9:00-5:00pm ET.
- This training will be presented virtually via Zoom by Zero Abuse Project and will not be recorded.
